A blue-footed booby supervising his nest of eggs
The blue-footed booby is the kamikaze flier among the Galápagos birds. Have the boobies traced a fish in the sea, they dive to the water from about 20 metres high.
With a wing span of 100 to 150 cm the blue-footed boobies are excellent gliders and can travel long distances.
