| Two teams, each including one doctor, worked at the clinic until last year. Running expenses of the hospital, about USD 7,000 every month were financed from the income of the neighbouring Yachana eco-lodge. Since 11 September, 2001 guests coming mainly from the USA have failed to come. The clinic has had to reduce the staff and has been searching for a new doctor. |
